Training: Domestic abuse awareness and the impact of domestic abuse on employment

 

Two organisations with the experience to offer expertise and insight have combined forces to provide a unique opportunity for training on domestic and employment.

DAWES Training and Consultancy Services

 

Our aim is to provide awareness raising, training and consultancy services to any organisation - support agency, refuge, advice organisation, union branch, staff team, HR department or whoever - that is interested in domestic abuse as a workplace issue.

We can offer:

  • awareness raising workshops about domestic abuse and the workplace, for staff at all levels - from the front line to senior management - either half day or full day
  • participatory training on advocating for and advising women who have problems at work as a result of domestic abuse
  • training sessions on developing a workplace policy around domestic abuse - either half day or full day
  • and consultancy services, tailored to meet your organisations specific needs, around domestic abuse and the workplace.

 

We charge £300 plus expensies per standard half a day workshop/training session and we will accept up to 20 people per session (which gives a cost per person of just £15). Consultancy is usually priced at £50 per hour and can be agreed by negotiation. There is a 10% discount available to voluntary sector organisations. Full terms of engagement can be provided.
